Its a long way and not recently discovered. Well as far as modern world goes this is one of the youngest countries, but from a historical archeology type thing its thousands of years old.
Anyway enough of that shit!!!
So we are both all planned up for the first legs of our tour....Bangkok & Bali and have places to stay for our other stops on our 2011 World tour(we sound like some 80s rock band with bad haircuts). well at least I have the bad haircut oh and I was well on this planet in the 80's damn :-(
So I been checking the prices on general random things in OZ this morning, I know we are going to Thailand and Indonesia first but the bulk of our trip is in Oz and the most pocket destroying part also, seeing as the prices of things have gone up, the exchange rate gone down and their wages up where ours have remained the same in the nearly 7yrs since I was living at Bondi. To my amazement petrol is much cheaper a ltr at approx £1, milk comparitive and perfume mega expensive there at nearly £80 a bottle! its a good job I use diesel ;-) There could even be an opportunity to export/import some lol.
Jess has 3 more shifts in work and I got 3 mondays left, they are the worst of all the work days after a relaxing drink filled lounging around weekend back to the harsh realities of work life......Anyways only the 3 left so Happy Days
